Does Trident Support SCORM 1.2?
No, Trident IDE supports SCORM 2004 but does not support SCORM 1.2.
Can you please suggest some LMS that I can test the Trident output on?
We work a lot with Rustici Software and recommend their Test Track LMS as THE PLACE to test content on the web. TestTrack has complete support for SCORM 1.1, 1.2, and SCORM 2004 (2nd and 3rd Editions). AICC has some support as well.
It is easy and free. Register for an account on Test Track
How do I test my packages created with Trident?
You can use the ADL Test suites found at our SCORM 2004 Test Suite site. SCORM 2004 Test Suites
SCORM.2004.3ED.CTS.v1.0.2.ST.exe -- This is the ADL SCORM test suite that will validate your package.
SCORM[1].2004.3ED.SRTE.v1.0.2.zip -- this is the ADL Sample LMS that is put out by ADL to test content packages.
Test suites are created and maintained by ADLNet.gov.

Does Trident allow developers to create a course interface?
Technically any JavaScript and HTML development can be done through the Code Editors so the answer would be yes. However, Trident is designed specifically for creating SCORM files.
